Learn From Those Who Have Done It

by | May 21, 2020

You hear this advice often.

Eat in a calorie deficit to lose fat.

Focus on slow and steady progress instead of rapid results.

Add more weight on your lifts overtime.

Eat your fruits and vegetables and drink your water.

And you may also be thinking something like “I know I know already you’re putting me to sleep. Shut up bro and leave me alone!”

While you may find this basic advice boring, it’s said for a reason.

It works.

Want to lose weight and keep it off?

Then it’s not a bad idea to listen to the 100 people who have either lost weight and kept it off or have helped countless other’s do it.

Want to build muscle and get really strong?

The common advice to eat more and lift heavy with great form is pretty great advice.

My point is this.

You don’t have to do what anyone else says.

It’s your life.

But if you are struggling and you keep hearing this advice that makes sense but sounds boring, it’s probably not so boring as it may just guide you to all of the results that you could ever want.

It’s worth it to give it a try.

The basics work.
