Strength Coach to parents, future parents and their families.

Break things into smaller chunks.

We all struggle with consistency.

I have spent so much time wondering why I would have so much trouble being consistent in so many arenas.

I chalked it up to a “lack of discipline.”

I would strive for perfection and try to fix the problem by adding more to my agenda.

Big mistake.

Simplicity is the key.

Discipline is important, but there is a lot to be said about setting up the proper environment.

If you are missing workouts left and right, neglecting all of your nutritional habits, lacking consistency in any way, you’re likely attempting the wrong thing (or at least too much of it at once.)

Make it smaller.

Make the habit so small that you can’t possibly fail.

Once, and only once you prove that you can keep it going consistently, can you then add more to the goal.

Hope this helps.
